Now with "DrayOS Firmware!"
Vigor 2760 provides connectivity to your PCs or other Internet-connected devices (laptops, tablets, games consoles, smartphones) via its built-in Gigabit ports, or using Wireless LAN (on 'n' models). The firewall helps protect your network from external threats, as well as the Vigor2760's built-in content filtering which gives you control over what and when your local users can access or download. For Wireless LAN usage, the Vigor2760n version supports multiple security methods, including strong encryption but also hardware-specific authorization and selectable client isolation (from each other).
The Vigor 2760 supports all variants of mass-market DSL technology available, so if you have ADSL today it will work with that, but when VDSL (FTTC) comes to your area later, you're ready, already. VDSL is available from BT under their 'Infinity ' service, currently providing downstream speeds of up to 160Mb/s (depending on local service). Other ISPs are also starting to introduce VDSL across the country so coverage continues to increase. You can also use 3G/4G networks.

That was a really fast shipping! Thanks BT ? With my ADSL line it's synchronises same good as the 2850 & 2830 models(DrayTek users will understand) ? The Unit is small. If you are used with 2850 or 2830,size is almost about half But is PowerFul ? The UI design is new and i really love the dashboard(similar to system status)? Has really many details and options ? The wifi 2.4G band can only offer,is indeed really strong.I am getting (with a mobile which is not that sensitive) at small next room 100% signal while other drayTek models reached up to 91% very rare times & out at the street about 50 m away(with a wall in the middle) 37% singal WoW ? I have Not test it with VDSL because there isn't yet, but with the info i have, should work very good especially for the ones with ECI exchange. This may be a good selling point as the ECI is hard to hack - Still with the first firmware and working like charm.I am very sure it will be even better ... 5 ????? for everything ?
Moved from ADSL to VDSL painlessly. Found out that from June 2014 Draytek have been shipping the 2760 with DrayOS firmware installed. If you have recently bought one I don't know how long the new ones take to filter through the supply chain, but we would have just missed them anyway! Not to worry, downloaded the update from Draytek and its easy to update (document full of dire warnings to be careful or you destroy the device!). Conclusion if you have a pre June 2014 one the improved web interface is worth the upgrade even if you don't want the new features!
Not clear from the spec - it is wall mountable, was an essential requirement. Even came with screws and plugs! Using on ADSL at the moment, but the plan is to use it with VDSL later - looks easy enough to setup when the time is right. Comes with quick start guide which will get it running in no time. The full user guide is a hefty volume available as a PDF: http://www.draytek.co.uk/v2760-manual That would be better organised as a number of smaller PDFs for each topic. Similarly the layout of the admin web pages needs some extra short cuts / search improved (e.g. search will not find subnet setting location). Also found a use for redundant ADSL routers - use them as switches! Obvious really, but took a while to figure out - set each of them to different subnets and then disable DHCP.
