The BT Halo brings style and performance to your home phone. Using the latest Bluetooth technology, the BT Halo allows you to receive mobile calls from your home phone. Premium materials and an elegant design created in collaboration with an award winning UK design agency mean this phone wouldn't look out of place in an art gallery.
Built into the phone is our nuisance call blocking technology*, which allows you to take control of all your incoming calls. Plus, with mobile syncing capabilities you can sync and store up to 2000 of your contacts onto your home phone.
Make and receive mobile and landline calls from your BT Halo
The inclusion of Bluetooth technology means that you can avoid mobile signal dropouts as you walk around the house, all from the comfort of your BT Halo.
The BT Halo's Bluetooth functionality means you can connect your mobile to your Halo base unit from up to 10m away. So long as your mobile is in a spot with good mobile coverage you can then wander freely around your home using your Halo handset to make and receive mobile calls, even in areas where you don't have mobile coverage.
Call Blocking Technology* allows you to block up to 100% of nuisance calls.
With the amazing multi-award winning trueCall technology built-in, the BT Halo can intercept callers not on your contact list to put you in control of who you speak to. You can block international and up to 1,000 numbers.
The premium call blocking feature screens incoming calls so you'll never have to speak to another cold caller again.
Numbers on your contact list get straight through
Numbers you've previously blocked will never get through
For anyone else, they'll have to say their name before getting to speak to you, you can then decide to accept or decline their call.
Call blocking can be done in a number of ways
Block by number or by call type: BT Halo blocks calls you want to block. For example, mobile, international, withheld, unavailable or payphone numbers can all be blocked.
Block by call type: Plus you can even block numbers by location (i.e. Use the area code or a suffix).
Do not disturb: For those times when you just want some peace and quiet, switch on Do Not Disturb so that your phone won't ring or light up.
Sync and store your mobile contacts on your BT Halo
With the ability to sync up to 2,000 of your mobile contacts, you'll always have your contacts on hand.
The BT Halo will also allow you to sync up to 2 smart phones so you can sync between the 2.

BT at it's best
These great looking quirky phones are a quality all the way. Great talk time, fantastic features that actually work and great reception. All in all everthing you need in a modern cordless home phone. Don't be put off by past issues with reception "clipping" this is a minor glitch that is easily rectified by a dedicated team at the Halo help desk (0800 156789) and takes about 5 mins to put right. The Call Guardian feature is absolutely brilliant and can block up to 100% of nuisance calls, it's easy to use with no scrolling through endless menus. Another great extra is you can make and recieve calls from your mobile phone when it's connected via Bluetooth, very handy indeed.
